PISTOL COMPETITION

Come hone your skills on this static shooting excersise and beat the clock to better your score.

Shotgun Competition

Blast away on clay pigeons flying
from your left and right.

The Pistol Competition is based on accuracy as well as speed. This course of fire requires 2-10 round magazines or 20 shots split among 2+ magazines as your firearm allows. All targets are clay pigeons, 10 targets located on 2 stands at 5 and 7 yards. Targets are about 4.5" wide and offer a challenge to even the smoothest of shooters. It is not shot in a versus layout, even though you shoot beside another shooter. Shooting is timed and hits counted in each round. There will be at least 3 rounds for the pistol competition. The only limitation is 10rnds per magazine and must be a caliber greater than 22lr.

The Shotgun Competition is fairly simple. The course of fire starts with warm-up and continues into 4 - 10 shot rounds for a total of 40 points available. Shooters will start from the shoulder or whatever they are most confortable with for the first 3 rounds, the last round will be fired off shoulder in a low ready position. There is no time limit and we are just here to have fun. Have fun in helping throw clay targets down range and challenge your fellow shooters. The hand thrown targets make for a challege,no matter what kind of shooter OR thrower you are. See if you can go 10/10 and pick up a perfect round patch.

Run-n-gun Competition

1 Firearm.....2 Firearms....3 Firearms ha ha ha
PLUS Running....yeah ...there is that.

The Run-N-Gun Competition scores your hits divided by your time. This shooting discipline covers 3 firearm types; a pistol, a tactical shotgun and a carbine style rifle. Competitors will start with engaging 20 steel pistol targets at 2 stations utilizing 20 rounds pistol (2+ magazines). Then shooters will transition to 10 steel shotgun targets at 1 station with a reload, shooters will then move to 3-10 round rifle stages (3+ magazines) that test both speed and accuracy at both short and medium. Shooters have the oportunity to get bonus points for more challenging shots at the end of the course of fire.

Whether you are a beginner or a veteran, this competition is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. We have designed the course the safety in the forefront of design. There is no running with loaded firearms and all firearms must be stowed securely before transitioning to different stages. Those with limited experience to firearms need not be overwhealmed as there is a Range Officer beside you every step of the way. We offer an optional Run-N-Gun using only .22lr  pistols and rifles.

This course of fire is designed to show your shooting abilites with risen heart rates and varied shooting positions. Test your abilities like no other indoor range can do.

Long-Gun Competition

Does your bolt action or semi auto long range Rifle get to work out as often as you want?

Let her eat and test your fortitude against the clock and small targets.

long range 2021.HEIC

The Long-Gun Competition isn't all about long range, but instead speed and accuracy at longer distances. We typically will run a couple rounds of 10 shot courses of fire.
Timed and adjusted for accuracy. Targets will range from 3" to 12"  gong style targets and a couple different shapes as well. Come test your ability to run your bolt or test for speed in follow-up shots with a semi-auto rifle. The goal here is to have a "blast."
Shooting longer range will improve all your shooting disciplines. We aim to excell in our abilities of shooting while having fun doing it and learning a little in the process. So don't leave that long ranger in the safe, bring her out and throw some lead downrange while having a great ton of fun!

As a bonus you can use this to hone your hunting skills at the same time. Bring a couple boxes of ammunition for this as 20 rounds will just get you warmed up. Plan to bring something comfy to lay on while shooting too.

Haven't shot a long gun or rifle before? Don't have one? Not to worry. There are plenty of opportuniteis for you to take a turn shooting and feeling the pride fo hearing a long range "SLAP" of the steel.
