   CAMPING                What to expect                   

   When you decide to come camping with us there are a few things to keep in mind. We have a saying in which there is never bad weather, just bad preparation. Meaning, that if you prepare adequately, it will not matter what nature throws your way. Dress for the weather and expect to cycle clothing as needed. When it comes to weather, just expect it to rain at least part of a day that we are out there. 

Normal Temperatures for spring and fall range from 36F-72F

    This is a car camping trip. When I say car camping, I don't really mean car, but rather 4WD Truck camping. If you intend to travel back to campsite, an offroad capable (NOT NEW) vehicle is a must. 


    Below is a quick reminder of a few items that I would recommend :

What to bring:

 

  • A Tent

  • Sleeping bag and pad

  • Pillow

  • Dry storage

  • Work boots/shoes (waterproof/water resistant)

  • Rain proof outerwear (parka)

  • Hat and sun/shooting glasses

  • Head light and/or flashlight (with spare batteries)

  • Work gloves/Shooting gloves

  • Plastic table (if available)

  • Toiletries

  • Cold weather beanie
